An Indiana city is being featured by a national business publication for its economic recovery efforts. The Wall Street Journal profiled Wabash, saying it is drawing new residents downtown “for the first time in years.” The story also detailed the city's selection for the state's Stellar Communities program, which could attract nearly $30 million in addition investment.

It says the “stakes have become existential” for Wabash to continue to improve its downtown as a means to attract and retain talent. The publication highlighted renovations to the Charley Creek Inn and the Eagles Theatre, as well as increased tourism numbers.
