Visit Hendricks County Makes Commission Changes

The governing body for Visit Hendricks County has added two new members and approved officers for the next two years. Plainfield Town Council member and former Plainfield Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kent McPhail will serve as president of the Hendricks County Tourism Commission’s executive committee.
Marsha Stone and Caleb Brown have joined the commission. Stone serves as senior director of commercial enterprise for the Indianapolis Airport Authority. She also serves on the board of the nonprofit Tourism Tomorrow Inc., which is working with Visit Indy and Visit Hendricks County to develop and oversee a regional tourism master plan. Brown is a member of the Hendricks County Council.
The nine-member Hendricks County Tourism Commission is made up of seven appointments by county commissioners and two appointments by the town of Plainfield.
