December 4, 2013

News Release

The Career Development Professionals of Indiana (CDPI) will be hosting its 3rd annual virtual career fair on February 5, 2014. The State of Indiana Collegiate Talent Search will have students and alumni from 18 colleges and universities throughout Indiana seeking employment opportunities nationwide.

“Virtual career fairs enable recruiters to save money on travel and allows them more time to interact one on one with job seekers,” states Erin Erwin, the CDPI representative organizing the virtual career fair. “The great news is that employers can attend the fair from anywhere and leverage the power of technology to recruit talent across multiple branches, divisions, or operations throughout the state and around globe with zero travel.”

Employers looking to hire full time individuals with 2 or 4 year degrees or organizations seeking interns or co-ops should consider the State of Indiana Collegiate Talent Search. Job Seekers and employers interested in finding out more about the virtual career fair, including participating schools, may log onto www.Indiana.CareerEco.net or contact Erin Erwin, at erserwin@indiana.edu.

CDPI is the statewide professional association for career service professionals with a membership of over 160 career service professionals throughout the state of Indiana. By fostering a sense of community, the members of the CDPI organization are dedicated to creating mutually beneficial partnerships that support the career development of the students and alumni of the organizations they serve.
