Vincennes to Rededicate Aviation Center

Vincennes University will hold a rededication ceremony this afternoon for its Aviation Technology Center in Indianapolis. The event follows a $6 million renovation of the 100,000 square-foot facility.
The renovation was made to the ATC’s educational space labs for VU’s programs in aviation maintenance and flight training. Vincennes says the ATC is the only school in the country that has a fully-functioning 737 for training purposes. The Boeing jet was donated to VU in 1996.
The rededication ceremony will feature remarks from university and airline officials, students and the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
The ATC is located at the Indianapolis International Airport.
