Under the terms of the partnership, VU flight and maintenance students who graduate with a cumulative 2.5 grade point average and complete their FAA requirements through Vincennes will be guaranteed an interview with Republic Airways. Aviation Technology Center Director of Aviation Michael Gehrich says the agreement is part of the school’s commitment to helping students with job placement after graduation.
The Aviation Technology Center is located at Indianapolis International Airport, and houses the program that provides hands-on training for aviation industry careers. The 92,000 square-foot facility includes classrooms and fully-equipped laboratories and is located close to multiple major industry employers.
