Vincennes University has named Whitney Daugherty assistant provost and dean of students for student affairs. She previously served as assistant director of career services at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and resident community advisor at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Daughery also served as director of student activities at VU in 2017-18. She also has a background in assessment and advising, having also served in the roles as an assessment coordinator for campus life and academic advisor.

Daugherty earned her master’s degree in student affairs and higher education from Indiana State University. She holds a bachelor of social work with a certificate in drug and alcohol abuse from Indiana University East and an associate of science in human service from Ivy Tech Community College.
