Vincennes Appoints Humanities Dean

Puckett, who had been serving in the role on an interim basis, has been a member of the school’s faculty for more than 25 years.
Her appointment took effect this week. During her time at Vincennes, she has taught courses ranging from developmental writing and reading to advanced grammar studies. She is also an academic advisor at the university.
In a release from Vincennes, Puckett said, "It is a true pleasure to work alongside so many outstanding, hard-working colleagues across campus and at distant sites who focus on student success. I look forward to working on initiatives to help our students become successful graduates capable of thriving in the 21st Century."
Puckett earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana State University
