Vincennes University has appointed Zhe Ji director of international student affairs. He comes to the university after serving as a teaching, research and graduate assistant for the past four years at the School of Education at Duquesne University. Ji earned both doctoral and master’s degrees in Education Leadership at Duquesne. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Marshall University. Ji served as Duquesne University Cultural Ambassador for two years, representing the university and the Pittsburgh community to prospective and current international students. His responsibilities included orientation, mentorship and planning international student events. From 2009 to 2013 Ji served as the overseas advisor for the Governmental Charity Federation of Luanchuan County in China, where he supervised international student admissions and recruitment activities, immigration advisement operations, and study abroad development.
