William Cox has been promoted to assistant director of Student Activities at Vincennes University. He previously served as an academic advisor for Distance Education. Cox grew up in Vincennes and graduated from VU in 1995 with an associate degree in Science in Education. He transferred to the University of Southern Indiana and earned a bachelor of science in Education in 2000. While attending USI he served as a resident assistant and a student ambassador, and was a member of the Student Government Association. Cox spent 13 years as an educator and administrator in the public school system assisting with student council, athletics, yearbook, and the Project Peace Organization.
