South Bend-based Villing and Company has named Jay Mattern chief operating officer. He previously served as CEO of The Peoplelink Group. Mattern replaces Thom Villing, who founded the agency in 1982. Mattern is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in marketing and has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts as one of the top 100 leaders in the staffing industry consecutively for the past three years.
