The Indiana Citizen has hired veteran journalist Kevin Morgan as director of digital content. He spent nearly three decades as a writer and editor at The Indianapolis Star. Since 2013, Morgan has served as senior managing editor for the nonpartisan Indiana Legislative Services Agency.

The Indiana Citizen is a nonpartisan, one-stop resource for voter registration, candidate information and public involvement in the democratic process. It also is a key partner with the Indiana Bar Foundation and its 2019 Indiana Civic Health Index, which found that Indiana consistently ranks in the bottom 10 for the percentage of eligible citizens who vote.
