Carmel-based Veracity IIR has hired Tim Green as senior investigator. He recently retired as police chief of Carmel after 35 years of service. Green began his career with the department as a patrol officer and worked his way up through the ranks to supervisor, assistant police chief and finally as chief. He received his BS in law enforcement management from Calumet College of St. Joseph. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy Session 184. He has also earned an FBI LEEDA graduation certificate in law enforcement executive leadership and IACP/police executive leadership association certificate in law enforcement executive leadership. He was honored as Police Officer of the Year in 1986 and received the Medal of Valor in 1980.
