Two major executives with Fort Wayne-based Vera Bradley Inc. (Nasdaq: VRA) have announced their departures. In notices to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the handbag and accessories manufacturer has named replacements for Chief Marketing Officer Angel Ilagan and Executive Vice President of Retail and Wholesale Karen Peters. Vera Bradley says Vice President of Marketing Stephanie Scheele will oversee the marketing area on an interim basis as the company launches a search for Ilagan's successor.

C. Roddy Mann has been named executive vice president, strategy and business development and will be in charge of overseeing sales. He has been with Vera Bradley for nearly nearly a decade and will assist the marketing department until a new CMO is hired.
