Illinois-based Vehicle Service Group has announced plans to invest more than $5 million to add a new automated production line at its facility in Madison.
The company, which manufactures vehicle lifting and repair equipment, said the new line will complement its existing manufacturing capabilities and improve lead times and product availability for customers.
The Madison facility currently employs about 520 people, according to a VSG spokesperson. The new investment is expected to create about 15 jobs, as well as provide professional growth opportunities for existing employees.
“This investment is a testament to the dedication of our Madison team and not only strengthens our ability to serve customers with high-quality products delivered on time but also creates meaningful opportunities for our employees and supports the long-term growth of our operations here in Indiana,” VSG President Arjun Mirdha said in a news release.
The company said it expects production on the new line to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
