Vectren Announces Leadership Changes
Evansville-based Vectren Corp. (NYSE: VVC) has announced changes to its executive leadership team. The company’s board of directors has approved the promotions of two senior leaders to executive vice president positions, effective June 1.
Vectren says Susan Hardwick, who currently serves as senior vice president and chief financial officer, will be promoted to executive vice president. She has worked for Vectren since the company’s inception in 2000.
Rich Schach, who currently serves as senior vice president of utility operations and president of Vectren Utility Holdings Inc. is being promoted to executive vice president and will also assume the title of chief operating officer. Schach will oversee Vectren’s four utilities and two non-utility operating units.
Both Hardwick and Schach will report to Chief Executive Officer Carl Chapman.
"These changes demonstrate our Board’s desire to effectively prepare our company for continued growth and success and ensure the ongoing development of our management team," said Chapman. "Likewise, the promotions in our utility operations group ensure our efforts on infrastructure modernization, safe and reliable generation and delivery of energy, and improving our customers’ experiences at every touch point remain on target."
Schach will be succeeded in his previous role by Jon Luttrell, who currently serves as vice president of energy delivery. That role will be taken over by Lynnae Wilson, who is currently the director of engineering and systems operations.
Vectren says the board reelected the company’s other officers to their existing positions.
