Utah Company Details Partial Closure of Indy Facility

Subscribe NowUtah-based Alsco Co., a linen and uniform-rental business service provider, is laying off workers at its Indianapolis plant due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a notice to the state, the company says the move will affect 72 employees with the goal of them returning to work within six months.
Alsco provides linen and uniform rental to restaurants, healthcare organizations and industrial facilities. The company says, “There are numerous government and health directives impacting our business and making it impossible to continue operations for the time being.”
The company says not all of its employees in Indianapolis are being affected by the move, calling it a “partial closure.”
