The University of Southern Indiana has promoted Heather Rush to director of the Pott College Advising and Resource Center. She previously served as an academic advisor and coordinator of programs and services in University Division Advising at USI. Before coming to the university, Rush served as director of the Office of Career Programs and oversaw new student orientation at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. She also has coordinated staff development initiatives for the Department of University Housing at the University of Georgia, and worked in the Office of Student Conduct at Virginia Tech University. Rush holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree in education, college student affairs administration from the University of Georgia. In her new role, she will lead the academic advising program for the Pott College of Science, Engineering and Education.
