Lafayette-based Unity Healthcare has promoted Margie Crooks to chief operating officer of its network of over 100 general and specialty physicians and healthcare providers. She most recently served as senior director of operations. Crooks previously worked in various senior executive positions in healthcare and education; in both small and large markets, located in St. Louis, Detroit, Indianapolis, Lafayette and Owensboro, Kentucky. 

She holds multi-state Health Administration licenses, a project management certification, as well as advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Business Administration.
