The United Way of Central Indiana has named Jim Macdonald to its board of directors. He serves as managing director for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Indiana and Louisville. 

Macdonald previously worked in Chicago before moving to Indianapolis in 2002.  Having worked as a practicing attorney, he now serves as a financial professional with over 20 years experience in a wide range of roles in commercial banking and wealth management. 

Macdonald also serves on the Indiana and Kentucky Market Leadership Teams and is currently the executive sponsor for the bank’s Indiana Diversity and Inclusion Council.

He holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a JD from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
