The hotel’s management company, Merrillville-based White Lodging Services Inc., says the 182-room hotel should welcome guests in August.
The company says guests can now book stays starting on September 8, 2020.
The hotel is undergoing a complete overhaul of its guest rooms and public spaces. The lobby will be transformed into a grand entrance with a modern, loft feel and custom art installations. The company says an unnamed full-service restaurant and cocktail bar, as well as a coffee and pastry counter, will also be included.
As part of the hotel’s service, the facility will serve as a training ground for Purdue’s hospitality and culinary students.
White Lodging has also announced the hotel’s leadership team. Victoria Wicks will serve as general manager alongside assistant general manager Brett Ociepka, and director of sales and marketing, Stephanie Portrey.
The company says the construction team is taking all health and safety precautions, and the hotel’s leadership team is working remotely to complete grand reopening preparations.
