UIndy Promotes Young to Lead Athletics Department

Subscribe NowThe University of Indianapolis has promoted Scott Young to vice president of intercollegiate athletics. He will assume the role on September 1 and succeeds Sue Willey, who served in the position for 17 of her 45 years of service. Young has served he university for 26 years, most recently as senior associate athletic director for compliance. His previous roles also include assistant head baseball coach and coordinator of game-day operations, adjunct instructor in the kinesiology department and athletic trainer. He received a bachelor of science in athletic training and a master of arts from the University of Indianapolis.
