UIndy Offering Scholarships to Christel House Students
The University of Indianapolis has launched a program designed to provide full scholarships to graduates of Christel House Academy South. The initiative covers all tuition and room-and-board costs for eligible students.
To be eligible for the scholarships, students must have completed the Indiana Academic Honors Diploma through CHA South, including two dual credit courses taught by UIndy professors. Those eligible for the tuition scholarship may also apply for the room-and-board scholarship.
"We are thrilled that the University of Indianapolis is offering these scholarships for our students at Christel House Academy South," said Carey Dahncke, head of schools at Christel House Academy. "Nearly all of our students live in poverty, and the opportunity to attend a four year university escapes many because of the financial commitment. So, the opportunity and generosity UIndy is providing will be a game changer for many of our graduates. It is simply an amazing opportunity that will forever change the lives of many."
