U.S. News ranks ‘Best Hotels in Indiana’

U.S. News and World Report is out with its 2025 ranking of the “Best Hotels in Indiana.” The publication ranks the hotels based on a number of criteria, including awards and recognition, hotel class, and guest rating.
U.S. News says to be considered for the Best Hotels ranking, a hotel must consistently receive a 3-star, 4-star or 5-star rating assigned by several sources. It be classified as a hotel or resort and have a minimum of 20 reviews from previous guests across various sources.
The publication also looks at 12 industry awards that are factored into the rankings, including the AAA Four and Five Diamond Awards, Forbes Four and Five Star Awards, Condé Nast Traveler Gold and Readers’ Choice lists.
The Conrad Indianapolis is the top-ranked hotel in Indiana for 2025, followed by Ironworks Hotel Indy on the city’s north side and Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indy.

- Morris Inn at Notre Dame (South Bend)
- West Baden Springs Hotel
- French Lick Springs Hotel
- JW Marriott Indianapolis
- Hotel Carmichael Autograph Collection (Carmel)
- Le Meridien Indianapolis
- Hyatt Regency Indianapolis
