Pendleton-based Tyler Companies, the parent company of Tyler Truss, has announced a new name for its breakout manufacturing division. The company says Tyler Marine will now focus on manufacturing commercial and residential products for marinas and docks.

The products to be made by Tyler Marine include modular, fixed-length and lighted gangways, eco-friendly decking, floating docks, swivel and fixed ladders, kayak racks, pet ramps and steps, hose racks, and grab bars, among others. The company will also offer custom and build-to-spec services.

“In the past year, we punched through into the Marine industry with our proprietary ‘modular’ gangway product, EasyLink. And with the addition of several products that gained traction in the market, it was time to launch Tyler Marine as its own entity, ” said Tyler Companies’ Chief Operating Officer Marc Johnson.

Tyler Marine says its products will be sold at commercial and waterfront services companies throughout the country, as well as online.
