A major food and drink website has included a signature dish made in Indiana on its list of the 101 Best Burgers in America. The Daily Meal rated the Dwayne Purvis All-American from the Triple XXX Family Restaurant in West Lafayette 55th overall. In 2012, Inside INdiana Business profiled the longtime diner located near the Purdue University campus. The sandwich is comprised of a third-pound burger, cheese and toppings that include peanut butter.

The website says the peanut butter is a “great counterpoint to the cheese and high-quality beef.”

The Daily Meal narrowed a list of 200 possible selections through voting from a panel of culinary experts, input from social media and other online reviews.
