Trine University has named Cisco Ortiz as dean of students. Ortiz had served as chair of Trine’s Department of Criminal Justice since last year and has been a full time faculty member since 2015. He will be responsible for administering all programs related to the social and developmental needs of students. Ortiz will also oversee student housing directors, counseling services, campus safety, along with commuter services and residence life. Ortiz holds a degree from Trine University.
