Trine University Forms Partnership with Bowen Center

More educational opportunities are on the way for Bowen Center employees after a new agreement with Trine University in Angola. The university says the agreement will allow for unique coursework, financial aid services and more for employees of the Fort Wayne-based community mental health center.
Trine says the Bowen Center will receive help in several areas, including finding grant and scholarship opportunities for employees, enhanced opportunities to recruit Trine students for open positions, and the opportunity to develop degree programs, certificates and professional development programs.
“We are very excited to continue growing our partnership with Trine,” said Wade Finicle, talent acquisition coordinator for Bowen Center. “Trine continuously helps Bowen Center employees continue their educational development, which helps Bowen Center better serve our surrounding communities. We are grateful for their partnership and assistance during these difficult times, helping us to recruit a diverse group of students and alumni to match our needs.”
The university says Bowen employees who enroll in Trine degree programs will also receive several benefits available to all Trine students, including 24/7 tutoring and the opportunity to earn graduate credits while working on a bachelor’s degree through combined degree programs.
