As part of its Master of Business Administration degree, Trine University has announced it is adding an accounting concentration this fall. The university is also adding finance and management concentrations to the degree.
"According to the American Institute of CPAs, 75 percent of today’s CPAs will be retiring within the next 15 years," said Nancy Steigmeyer, dean of graduate studies at Trine. "Adding the concentration in accounting will meet the requirements for CPA preparation hours."
Trine says classes will be available online and at all nine university campuses in Indiana, Michigan and Arizona. Applications for the one-year, 31-credit-hour MBA program will be accepted through August 8.
