Train, Blues Traveler to Headline Carb Day

As the month of May draws near, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has announced more big acts for the weekend of the 102nd Running of the Indianapolis 500. Grammy Award-winning bands Train and Blues Traveler will headline the popular Carb Day concert the Friday before the race.
The concert, set for 3:30 p.m. on May 25, will cap off a long day of activities at IMS, which includes the final practice for the Verizon IndyCar Series drivers ahead of the Indy 500, as well as the Freedom 100 Indy Lights Race and the Indy 500 Pit Stop Challenge.
"Miller Lite Carb Day is one of the best days of the year, combining the excitement of on-track activity, the Indy 500 Pit Stop Challenge and music to help usher in the best weekend of the year," said IMS President Doug Boles. "Train and Blues Traveler will provide great performances filled with hits for our fans and a fitting finale to a day of action and off-track fun. It’s the perfect start to Race Weekend."
Last week, IMS announced country music star Sam Hunt will headline the Legends Day concert, which will take place the day after Carb Day. On race day, electronic dance music stars Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Deadmau5, Diplo and GRiZ will headline the Snake Pit concert.
