News Release

Laguna Beach, Calif. — The Performance Racing Industry Trade Show’s return to Indianapolis has seen an immediate increase in exhibiting companies, as the show known as “The Three Biggest Business Days in Racing” has already grown by more than 200 exhibitors for 2013.

Just as impressive, 100 racing companies that have never exhibited at either the PRI or IMIS trade shows will be on hand for the 26th annual PRI Trade Show, December 12–14, 2013, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

“New racing technology is the big magnet that draws racing professionals from across the U.S., and the world, to Indianapolis for the PRI Trade Show,” said John Kilroy, producer of the PRI Trade Show. “The exhibits are the star attraction, and we'll have an extraordinary array of new racing components and precision machining equipment on display.”

The show is returning to Indianapolis for the first time since 2004 after its owner, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), acquired the International Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS) in late 2012, consolidating it with the PRI Trade Show under the PRI brand for 2013 and beyond.

In addition to the growth in exhibitors, this year's Race Industry Week—the days leading up to and including the Show—has grown to include 45 events in what will result in a seven-day flurry of activity.

“There's a lot of excitement around the PRI Trade Show’s return to Indianapolis,” said Kilroy. “The combination of new exhibitors along with our returning exhibitors from both the PRI Show and IMIS show is going to make for an incredible showcase of the latest advances in racing technology. Add in the growth of Race Industry Week, and everything points toward a terrific week for doing business in the racing industry.”

This year's PRI Trade Show will play host to exhibits from over 1175 racing companies occupying over 3300 booths, and attract more than 40,000 racing professionals from across the US and 72 countries.
