Toyota Plans Jobs Announcement In Princeton

Toyota broke ground on the Princeton facility in 1996.

Governor Eric Holcomb will join officials from Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana Inc. in Princeton to make an "exciting" economic development announcement Tuesday morning. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says it involves new investment and jobs for southwest Indiana.

Earlier this month, Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE: TM) announced plans to spend $10 billion in capital investments throughout the country over the next five years. Last year, TMMI celebrated its 20th anniversary in Princeton.

Governor Eric Holcomb will be on hand for the event. The announcement is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Central Time at the Toyota Indiana Visitors Center.
