Columbus-based Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) has unveiled its senior leadership following the previously announced integration of Toyota Material Handling and New York-based The Raymond Corp.
Brett Wood will continue to serve as president and CEO of the combined company, which completed its integration on April 1.
Wood, who will also continue his role as senior executive officer for TMHNA parent Toyota Industries Corp., called the combination a milestone in the forklift manufacturing company’s long-term strategy to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
“Our vision is to continue to lead the material handling industry with solutions for our customers’ evolving challenges,” Wood said in a news release. “This integration gives us the opportunity to leverage the best people, processes, and products into one unified organization for the benefit of our customers.”
The remaining members of TMHNA’s leadership team are:
- Michael Field, former president and CEO of The Raymond Corp., will serve as chief operations officer.
- Sam Coles, former president of Toyota Material Handling International in Sweden, has been appointed chief sales and marketing officer.
- Tony Miller, former senior vice president of operations engineering, and strategic planning for Toyota Material Handling, will serve as chief supply officer.
- Mark Taggart, TMHNA’s former chief financial officer, has been promoted to chief administration officer.
“I couldn’t be more excited about the people we have in place to lead our new organization,” Wood said. “All four of these leaders are the very best at what they do, and they are driven by our foundational values of continuous improvement and respect for people. Most importantly, our entire Toyota team will always do what is best for our customers, dealers, and associates.”
The company also said it is continuing construction on its nearly $100 million, 295,000-square-foot facility in Columbus, which is set to open in 2026. The facility will produce electric material handling equipment.
