Toyota Material Handling U.S.A. in Columbus has promoted Tom Lego to national manager of training and the customer center, where he will spearhead all TMHU training initiatives and oversee the Customer Center. Lego joined Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing in 1991 with positions in production control, purchasing and kaizen project management before joining TMHU in 2011 as customer center manager. In the past year, Lego has also led the technical training team.

Also, Scott Redelman has been promoted to national manager of Toyota Lean Management. He will head Toyota’s efforts to develop the dealer network with the goal of teaching customers to practice lean principles and logistics. In addition to his role with Toyota Lean Management, Redelman will lead the development of an internal lean management training program. He joined TIEM in 1996 as a specialist in production control before his most recent position as senior manager of production control and logistics.
