Total Quality Logistics to Open South Bend Office

Cincinnati-based Total Quality Logistics has announced it will open a new sales office and add jobs in South Bend. It is the third Indiana office for the company, with the other two located in Indianapolis and Evansville.
The South Bend office is scheduled to open March 7. The company says it plans to bring 50 to 75 new jobs to the city over the next three years.
"We’re happy to open in northern Indiana and bring an office to South Bend," said TQL President Kerry Byrne. "Our satellite offices help us grow market share and maintain our leadership position in the third-party logistics business. South Bend is attractive to us for a number of reasons, including the quality and depth of professional talent in the area."
TQL has 44 offices in 20 states throughout the country. The Indianapolis office has been in place since April 2011 and the Evansville office opened last week.
"By choosing the Crossroads of America for its latest office, TQL’s clients are gaining the logistical advantage that comes with doing business in Indiana," said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith. "Indiana is helping logistics companies maximize their efficiency with our central location and 14 interstate highways that connect manufacturers to customers across the nation. TQL’s plans to create 300 new Hoosier jobs at offices across the state shows that when it comes to logistics, Indiana is the national leader."
