The treasurer of Minnesota-based Toro Co. (NYSE: TTC) has been added to the board of trustees of Fort Wayne-based Franklin Electric Co. Inc. (Nasdaq: FELE). Renee Peterson will succeed a director who is set to retire within six months.

That director is set to reach the company’s mandatory retirement age.

Peterson also currently serves as chief financial officer and a vice president. Her career experience includes executive financial roles with New Jersey-based Eaton Corp. (NYSE: ETN) and Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE: HON).

Franklin is a global company, serving customers in industries including agriculture, industrial and fueling.
