Topgolf Looking to Recruit 500 in Fishers

Texas-based Topgolf International Inc. is planning to hire 500 workers for its soon-to-open Fishers location. The sports entertainment center is slated to be complete in early fall and the company says recruitment events will begin in three weeks for jobs including servers, bartenders, kitchen and maintenance.

Topgolf officials says the process is "unlike any typical job interview" and involves activities including team-building challenges, an "Idea Factory" where applicants plan a hypothetical special event and "X-Factor"-style panel interviews. Topgolf Fishers Director of Operations David Lingafelter says "we couldn’t be more excited to create 500 jobs in Indiana. Fishers is a vibrant community that is frequently recognized as a top place to live and work, and we hope to prove we will be a top workplace within the state."

The new 65,000 square-foot Topgolf location will include point-scoring golf games with microchipped ball technology, plus food, drink and other entertainment options in a climate-controlled setting that will be opened year-round.
