INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., – Hamilton National Title, LLC, a leading provider of national residential and commercial title insurance and escrow services, today announced Jerry Torr as its new Vice President of Business Development and member of the firm's management committee.
Mr. Torr has enjoyed an extensive career as an insurance industry executive with substantial experience in handling complex claims and insurance coverage issues, and in recent years as a business development professional focusing on institutional and corporate risk and insurance coverage.
In addition to his thirty years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Torr has served in the Indiana House of Representatives since 1996 as the elected representative of House District 39, covering large portions of Clay Township in Hamilton County and the city of Carmel, and is currently the Assistant Majority Floor Leader.
Torr, who was twice honored with the Government Leader of the Year Award by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, serves on the boards of Indiana Humanities, Carmel Symphony Orchestra, National MS Society Indiana Chapter, and the government affairs advisory committee for the Indianapolis Museum of Art. His extensive network of professional and personal contacts and proven track record in the legislature mark him as a leading executive in the Indianapolis business community.
