EDINBURGH, Ind. – More than 3,500 service members from 22 different units from the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Air National Guard, Active Duty Army and Canadian Forces will participate in the 38th Division Warfighter Exercise at Camp Atterbury, 26 January through 13 February 2015, designed to develop, train, and exercise the war fighting functions of leaders.
The Warfighter Exercise is a classified division-level culminating training event representing a significant milestone for participating units in the Army Force Generation cycle. Over 500 Soldiers from the Indiana National Guard’s 38th Infantry Division will be tested on command and control procedures and reaction of methods in battle pertaining to their management and execution abilities through a virtual battlefield.
