Terre Haute-based Thompson Thrift Retail Group is expanding its presence into the southeast region with the appointment of Ryan Menard as vice president, director of southeast region. The company is currently active in the southeast region with developments in North Carolina and Arkansas. He joined TTRG in 2012 and most recently served as vice president of sales & leasing. Menard previously served as a vice president of Seven Development, where he helped grow the company in three major areas: landlord representation, tenant representation and build-to-suit development. He also served as director of leasing for Keystone Group LLC and was a senior leasing agent at Premier Properties USA Inc.

Menard earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and history from Miami (Ohio) University in 1998. He is actively involved in ICSC and is a past state co-chair of the Indiana ICSC Next Generation Committee. Thompson Thrift is a full-service real estate development and construction company with offices in Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Houston, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona.
