The Polis Center at IUPUI has appointed Tarek Rashed director of GeoInformatics. He previously worked at Geospatial Applied Research Experts House in Round Rock, Texas. Rashed also served as a faculty member at the Universities of Redlands, Oklahoma and Southern California. He earned his Ph.D. through the joint doctoral program of San Diego State University and the University of California.
