The Museum of Miniature Houses in Carmel has named Rachel Tavaras its first collections manager. She has experience at house museums, farmsteads, county historical societies and art centers. In her new role, Tavaras will be responsible for directing donations of miniatures, caring for and maintaining the collection, assisting in mounting offsite displays and museum exhibits and administering the database.
