The Mind Trust has elected Dr. Tequilla Brownie and Miriam Acevedo Davis to its board of directors. Brownie serves as executive vice president of strategy, policy & community relations at The New Teachers Project. Acevedo Davis serves as president and chief executive officer of La Plaza. 

“We are pleased to welcome Miriam Acevedo Davis and Dr. Tequilla Brownie to The Mind Trust’s Board of Directors,” said Jim Schumacher, The Mind Trust’s Board Chairman. “Their wealth of experience, vast knowledge, and impressive skill sets will be valuable additions to the board.
