The Milk Bank in Indianapolis has appointed Ekanem Akinola medical director. She currently serves as an attending neonatologist at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and Ascension St. Vincent Women’s Hospital.

Akinola received her medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria, followed by a residency at Cook County Children’s Hospital in Chicago and a fellowship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine specializing in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
