The Highland Project has named Katara McCarty to the inaugural cohort of Highland Leaders, who are addressing the racial wealth gap. She is chief executive offier of Katecha Corp., served as an executive and co-pastor of Marion-based God’s House and co-founded and directed The Center for Success in Marion. McCarty is co-founder and developer of Ceelelo School in Zambia, Africa.
