The Escape Room Fishers will take up more than 6,000 square feet of space in The Edge and will bring more than 20 jobs, ranging from management to hourly employees, to the area. The interactive game features themed rooms in which participants have 60 minutes to "find clues, solve puzzles, and discover keys and combinations to escape the room before time is up."
"This location will offer new rooms for fans and expanded hospitality options for events and corporate groups," said Jennifer Harbron, part owner and director of event planning for The Escape Room. "We will be able to accommodate larger groups than ever with bigger rooms and two distinct lounges that can service more than one group at a time."
The Fishers location will house six different challenges and the Escape Lounge, which will feature local Indiana beer and wine. The Indianapolis location features themed rooms, including Hoosier Hysteria, Jail Break, Bank Heist, KGB Interrogation and Art Gallery.
"The Escape Room is a unique addition to the Nickel Plate District," said Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness. "The revitalization of the area was done to ensure our residents and visitors have a place to live, work and play in our community. It’s very exciting to see this vision come to life, and welcome the Escape Room to Fishers."
The Edge is a mixed-use development for which construction was completed last year. Some of the other tenants include Community Health Network, The Well, The Borrowed Boutique and Progressive Eye Care.
