‘The Combine’ to Kick Off in Bloomington

An event that focuses on technology and entrepreneurship kicks off Friday in Bloomington. The Combine will feature workshops, networking events, a Civic Code Challenge and presentations from a variety of industry leaders.
Some of the speakers include Cook Group President Pete Yonkman and Indianapolis-based Lessonly CEO Max Yoder. The Civic Code Challenge will feature participants designing and building a web-based app to allow transit riders in Bloomington to purchase ride tickets from their phones in a secure environment.
"This year’s lineup is one of the best we’ve put together," said Mike Trotzke, co-organizer of the event. "The Combine is designed to celebrate entrepreneurship and spur innovation and we think this year’s event will have something for everyone, whether you’re interested in startups, technology, entrepreneurial culture, or inspiring innovation within an existing company or organization."
The event runs through Saturday. You can view the schedule and a full list of speakers by clicking here.
