The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has hired Amy Kwas as vice president of development. She served as executive director of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Indiana for 12 years and development & communications director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Indiana Chapter for seven years. Kwas has extensive fund-raising experience in individual, foundation and corporate giving as well as special events, local and national not-for-profit philanthropy. She will focus primarily on creating and sustaining relations with individual, corporate and foundation donors and prospects to secure funds to support the museum’s extraordinary programs, exhibits and experiences. Kwas holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DePauw University and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs with a Non-profit Management concentration from IUPUI.
