‘The Beaver’ to Give Commencement Speech

Jerry Mathers, better known as Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver from the television series "Leave It To Beaver," will give the commencement speech for Indiana Tech in May.
Indiana Tech says Mathers regularly speaks on living and dealing with diabetes, having been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes himself in the mid-1990s.
"Indiana Tech is pleased to have television icon and worldwide champion for those with diabetes, Jerry Mathers, join us as this year’s commencement speaker," said Indiana Tech President Arthur Snyder. "We look forward to having him join us on our university’s biggest day of the year to share his inspirational message with our students."
Indiana Tech’s commencement is scheduled for May 14 at at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
