The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra has promoted Samantha Johnson-Helms to executive director. She most recently served as marketing manager. Prior to that, Johnson-Helms worked as personnel manager. She has been the symphony’s principal clarinet since 2013. A graduate of Butler University with a bachelor of music degree in clarinet performance, Johnson-Helms also holds a master’s in clarinet performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and will soon complete her doctorate, also at Indiana University.
