Terre Haute Hospital Names CEO

Terre Haute Regional Hospital has named Nathan Vooys chief executive officer. Vooys, who previously served as chief operating officer of Ocala Health Systems in Florida, will begin his new position March 20.
Vooys succeeds Mary Ann Conroy, who announced her retirement in November. Conroy has served as CEO of Terre Haute Regional Hospital since 2011.
"The leadership of Mary Ann Conroy has been transformative and her legacy will be long-lasting," said Bart Colwell, president of the Terre Haute Regional Hospital Board of Trustees. "Under Mary Ann’s guidance, Regional has become a top-performing Level II trauma center and is a leader in the State of Indiana in patient quality of care metrics. We will miss Mary Ann and wish her the best as she retires."
The hospital says during his time at Ocala Health, Vooys oversaw several capital expansion projects, the establishment of a graduate medical education program and the addition of a Level II trauma program. Terre Haute Regional itself is a Level II in-process trauma center.
